visiting on-foot brewers fans did a great job last night staying out of my city's bike lanes. as i get ready to head downtown again, hoping for a repeat today.

Interesting move. I'm guessing it's maybe with the idea of wanting Keston to get more consistent ABs heading into the MLB All-Star Break. Seems odd to send down a guy who, albeit in a small sample, is batting .380 this month.

He's been in most ways the best hitter and we are shipping him off to Nashville? Color me confused.

I think it comes down to they needed another arm, Hiura has options and they aren't ready to cut bait with Severino just yet.....might be trying to trade him......

The 3 catcher thing certainly isn't going to work long term.

It makes "sense" but yea... I agree. VC and Omar have been fantastic - no reason to think Severino is a better option in any way than either of them. And we sure don't need 3 catchers. But what do we know. lol.

Makes sense, They need a pitcher and with Brosseau and Severino on the roster Hiura, due to his defensive limitations, is probably not the first or second choice at any position.

Is there a site somewhere that lists what percentage of a team’s runs are produced by home runs?

I would think that the Brewers would have one of the higher percentages given that they are about average in OBP but near the top (2nd in NL and 4th in MLB) in HRs.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Can someone remind me how I can sync the Brewers radio feed with the You Tube telecast?

NM I found it.

Good to see Sadzeck get a chance with the good AAA results.  Assuming it's just to get Hiura ABs through the break next week given he's been fairly productive.  The silly catcher jam also needs to be resolved.

I thought Hiura played a decent 2d base back in the day before Wong .  I know Wong has the bigger name from St Louis, but is he better overall than Hiura this year? right now?

It would’ve made sense to sit Urias after his 0-4 with 4 k day yesterday.  It’s not fun to see him go from an 80 hit tool to the Brewers dream of swing-for-the fences-no-matter-what approach. And just as I was about to send this he strikes out in his first at-bat today.

Good luck.  All I know is that my MLB audio is at least a minute behind reality, as measured by ESPN, TV, and this board. ?

Hiura never played a decent 2nd base.
