The MLB site shows some guy named Jimmy Yacabonis as the Rays SP in what would presumably be an opener role.

People can be incredulous all they want I suppose, just wanted to provide the not so obvious insight. I'm in favor of Keston facing right handers at this point, but not so much lefties.

Keston can hit lefties just fine ... look at the career stats, not just some recent small-sample stats, I say!

I like Keston and am hopeful for him still, but the career stats vs. lefties ain't pretty ?

His 2020 wRC+ of 80 against lefties is his best season mark.

He has started one game since 2019 so that's a safe bet (it appears the Rays just acquired him).
