When I see him I get nostalgic for his work with Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. Great drummer, solid third baseman.

Marlins down the Padres for the second day in a row. FWIW Josh Hader hasn't pitched in a week since his last blowup appearance and Josh Bell has an OPS below .500 since the deadline.

I didn't know Tormund Giantsbane was in a band and plays for the Dodgers.

For the second night in a row the Mets starting pitcher left with an injury.

Carrasco last night (put on IL with oblique strain, expected out 3-4 weeks) and Walker tonight.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Yup, the bullpen is so much better without Hader and adding in Bush.

Poor Brandon Woodruff. Screwed out of yet another win by an incompetent team.

There are three things America will be known for 2000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced. Gerald Early

The Dodgers are better than an all star team. They have chemistry.

And with a team that an incompetent moron could get 95 wins out of, yet they also happen to have a great manager.  Because why not.

Not great, Bob

David Price can still pitch.

That Adames hit should have been a HR.  If MLB was using the 2020 ball that is a HR but with the current ball it is just a loud out.

Brewers relievers have surrendered 24 home runs since the start of July, most in the Majors.

I guess that's why they added 11 at the trade deadline.  Probably the wrong 11.

And the Dodgers can pay him $16M/year to do so out of the pen.

So far this year, that's almost $500K/inning.
