That 10th inning could be used as Exhibit A to demonstrate the Brewers futility.

First, failing to add on with runners on 1st and 2nd, started by Yelich trying to pull the 3-1 pitch then striking out.

Second, allowing Happ a free stroll to third, to set up,

Third, Yelich letting a ball drop out of his hands to allow Happ to waltz home with the tying run.

I have to disagree.  That's Exhibit AAAAAAABBAABBXABBBAXW

Is this really all that surprising? Cubs are 16-10 in the second half and we are 13-12. Seems like the Cubs are the better team right now. Likely soon to be 17-10 and 13-13.

Absolutely. Little things not done... again and again.

I don't understand the walking of Ortega if you don't walk Madrigal as well. All you do by walking one and letting him stroll to 2nd is guarantee an at-bat by Contreras this inning. Essentially trading an at-bat by Ortega for one by Contreras. I don't get the logic.

The Packers always are at the Cap and the Bucks are in the Luxury Tax (or whatever the NBA equivalent is) for the 2nd year in a row so you must mean the Brewers.

I guess I didn’t entirely mean financially.  I meant more that they don’t do enough to build a complete team. That definitely means financial for the Brewers, but for the Packers, they’ve relied on Rodgers carrying the offense while having sub-par defenses. That works during the regular season, but when playing better teams in the postseason it’s much more difficult for Rodgers to carry them. He needs to be perfect almost every game, and obviously that hasn’t been the case with all of our sub-par postseason losses. Now the Packers have a good defense (which was the problem for many years) and they put possibly the worst special teams unit out in NFL history last season.  They never have a complete team, except in 1996, 1997, and 2014 (puke). Even in 2010, they just had an amazing run to win the Super Bowl.

I don't understand walking Ortega and letting him take 2nd with the infield in. What was the point? He scares Counsel more than Contreras? I'd love to hear him talk about it in the press conference.

Does Craig have a little voice in his head?  Mine was saying "why are they pitching to Contreras, he always seems to beat the Brewers".  Get a voice Craig.
