I took a glance at this Abbott's milb stats, appears to be someone RedsFan should be excited about.  Plus he throws with his left hand.  Hopefully we can spoil his debut today.

Let's see how close I get...

Miller 2B

Contreras C

Anderson RF

Yelich DH

Monasterio SS

Brosseau 3B

Singleton 1B

Wiemer CF

Perkins LF

Overall, we'll be glad to have the right-handed bats of Adames and Urias back.

Joey Wiemer over the past week: .333/.478/.611/1.089....And is our main lefty killer other than Contreras. Hopefully he has a long ball in him tonight.

Swap Urias in for Brosseau with the news Urias is back and Brosseau is optioned.

Urias activated. Brosseau optioned. Ruf to 60-day IL (fractured right patella) to open a 40-man spot for Urias.

Yep. Wasn't expecting the Urias news. Pleasant surprise.

About time Brosseau got optioned. Terrible defense and can't hit LHP now, which is what he's on the roster for.

Turang lives to fight another day (or two days).

Teheran may be all smoke and mirrors so far (and there's evidence that it might be) but if he keeps this up? What a pickup.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Teheran, Houser, and Rea have kept this team afloat.  Will need all three for at least a few more weeks.  Hope they can keep it up.

If you told me our lineup on Saturday , and Rea Houser Teheran were in the rotation , before the season started … I’d guess our record was like 20-40 right now. As frustrating as it’s been… just wow.

Major league experience is not a requirement for a LHP to shut down the Brewers offense.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

If a RHP decided to throw left handed against the Brewers, how many scoreless innings would he throw and why is the answer not confidently zero?

Im pretty sure Brosseau throwing left-handed would get a no-no into the 7th inning against us
