Reds fanatic has to be going nuts trying to figure out why they can't score on this staff.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

If we lose tonight, it is 100% on management for not making a trade for a bat or promoting Toro or Black … even Hiura … soon enough.

To keep Winker on the roster - especially when you don’t have enough confidence to play him against a RH starter - is unforgivable. It’s embarrassing to try & defend such poor decisions.

This team could be 20 games over .500 with an average offense, yet we are struggling to hold off Cincinnati - a young team with an excellent offense & equally bad pitching.

I hope we somehow win this game after failing to score in nearly 20 opportunities with runners in scoring position.

Frelick reminds me of a young Molitor … I love his energy & bat to ball skills. He needs help sooner than later! I thought for sure there would be a roster move or two for the offense before tonight’s game. Maybe it happens tomorrow.

It all makes so much sense...but then it takes too long to write in the game thread and the game ruins most of the point, lol.

A good 9th inning doesn't make any of this a cold take, btw

Walkoff win is well within the run of play for the game. So many baserunners not cashed in. Well deserved for the pitching staff to not get hung with a loss.

But it’s another grind-it-out win that shows how hard it is to string lots of singles together to score runs. Really could use adding a couple #3–5 hitters with some power and at least average contact to this lineup at the trade deadline.
