It was great that the Rockies beat the Cubs last night.

I have a feeling that will be their only win of the series.

Any games they win in Wrigley Field next week should be considered a bonus.

They had that first game too

We need a population increase and prices decrease!

Tickets start at $4 on Stubhub. $20 gets you in the 200s. (Plus fees, I know).

Wiemer should be in the minors not starting games  in a pennant race

the brewers are committing second degree career abuse here

Yeah he looks completely lost even against lefties now. If Canha is out an extended period of time, how about we get nuts and call up Chourio for the remainder of the regular season.

Nice to see CC has given up on Turang against LHP for now. He's young and developing, but you can't have an automatic out (which Turang is against LHP) in the order.

If Donaldson gets hot, I could honestly see Turang losing most of his playing time like Wiemer has. The best potential Brewers lineup at this point is likely.

1. Yelich - LF

2. Contreras - C

3. Santana - 1B

4. Adames - SS

5. Canha - DH

6. Donaldson - 3B

7. Frelick - CF

8. Monasterio - 2B

9. Taylor - RF

Over the last month or so (Aug 15 through yesterday) Chourio is hitting 248/296/448 (93 wRC+), I'm not sure he'd be much of an upgrade over anybody at this point and all you'd be doing is adding him the 40 Man way earlier than needed.

A more realistic option to replace Wiemer would probably be someone like Blake Perkins, who just played his first rebab game at AAA yesterday after missing the last month with injury.

I'd agree with that. Contreras is due to DH with Burnes not pitching until Sunday. And Caratini, while not great, is a significantly better option than Turang against LHP.

Plus with a day game after a night game tomorrow you wouldn’t want to catch WC both games anyway so why not get him off his feet against the lefty?

Crowds have been light these first two games. Hopefully we can get more folks in the stands considering we’re in a pennant race here. I just watched highlights from the Phillies/Braves game last night and Citizens Bank Park was pretty packed.

The Phillies are in a much bigger market and are playing a much more attractive opponent that will bring in some fans of their own and some Phillies fans who want to see the best team in MLB.

Milwaukee has always been a tough place for attendance on September weekdays.

The Brewers have plenty of ticket discounts if you check them out.

Yeah they have already said Chourio isn’t coming up……people need to let that go.

It's good to be careful. It's not often that teenagers do that well in the majors, although it happens sometimes. Bryce Harper and Juan Soto are examples.

If any prospect is getting called up, it's going to be Tyler Black. I could see them doing that if Canha has to go to the IL.

Has anyone in the organization even mentioned this as a remote possibility?   The only time I hear his name is on this board.     I don’t think he will be called up to play this year      And definitely not chourio

btw is Garrett Mitchell a possibility this year yet

I mean, when you're in AAA and hot like he is, you're right there. They have to add him to the 40 man anyways this offseason. CC addressed it and said it's a possibility.
