Why. The Brewers and the D-Backs are comparable teams. Neither is head or shoulders better than the other. Vegas has this series 50/50 with the Brewers at home all 3 (or 2) games.

With the best pitching staff in the league we should be able to win a round. Then again our supposed ace is anything but.

Pretty big stretch, pitch was borderline and we don't know how the sequence would have changed.

Goes without saying, but obviously every game in a best of 3 is critical. The thing is, if we can pull this off today, you'd have to think we're in really good shape for the series because of how much we've tapped their bullpen today.

I've gotten to that point as well after 50+ years of mostly state-wide failures.
