Unless you think he is lying you should probably do both.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. I don't think he's lying and I am sorry that he has Parkinsons.

I do, however, think he's kind of a sleaze who probably knowingly committed welfare fraud and the timing of his announcement to steer the narrative away from the reason he was there isn't accidental by any means.

Maybe it's my G&G glasses on, but there is part of me that thinks he isn't overly bright about money matters and surrounded himself with sleazeball managers that suggested the idea without full disclosure of what the impacts really would be.  Like how most (all?) of us don't bother to read the license agreements when signing up for a new web site or installing software.

"Yeah, we found a great way to fund this project from 'the government'.  Should we go get that money? Sure, sounds great!"

But either way, Favre has to own it because he was ultimately responsible for it.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

So Giants get called for a face mask when it was clear on replay that it actually a cowboy grabbing the facemask. Killed a Giant drive but Greg Joseph bailed them out. Then Cowboys score a TD that everyone assumed was called back by offensive holding but flag was picked up due to “replay assist”.  Where the hell was replay assist on the facemask?

The Montgomery signing last year by Detroit might have been the best deal of the century.

As a Jahmyr Gibbs fantasy owner, Montgomery sucks and should never be out on the field.

Why do commentators always refer to 8 point games as a "1 possession game"?

Troy gushing over the call to just kick the XP because it "makes it a 1 possession game".

No, it doesn't. It gives you about a 50/50 shot at a 1 possession game if you get a touchdown.

if you get a TD and attempt a 2pt conversion that would be "one"  possession. no?

Not just attempt. If you succeed at it, it would be one possession. If you fail at it, you are still down two, thus making it two possessions. And the likelihood of either outcome are about equal.

For some teams, ahem, a seven-point difference could be considered a two-possession game.

Fair point- we would have been one of those teams last year 🤣 but it's far easier to *assume* than a 2.

I think you're reading too much into it.  All "a 1 possession game" means is that the game can be tied or a lead change hands in 1 possession.  Furthering your logic, a 7 point lead isn't a 1 possession game isn't because what if they only kick a fg or a 3 point lead isn't because what if they don't score at all.

I know Davante isn’t coming home, but if that’s the case, can he just stay out of the NFC North altogether? Please and thank you. My Wisconsin sports fan heart can only take so much.

Cowboys and Jets are the two leading teams.  I don’t think the Lions or Vikings have the cap room.  The Bears do but they need another OL over another WR.

The Lions have a ton of cap space this year and next. I don't know if they'll be willing to do it or if Adams will want to go there, but I think they could get it done.

The Vikings would have to restructure, so it just wouldn't make sense.

Rodgers is no longer an elite quarterback. I'm not even sure he's in the top 15.

Crazy hot take. He is easily a Top 15 QB if he had a decent line. His line isn’t just bad…it’s VERY VERY bad. That isn’t going to make any QB look good, let alone an older less mobile one.

Yes he sure is average at best. On the last drive of the game he threw a pass over Garrett Wilson's  head that missed him by 5 yards. He was under pressure but a makeable pass.
