Perfect timing for this thread.  I could use some positivity after the Mitchell injury.  Why should we be excited about the upcoming season? Not sarcasm, seriously asking,.. need to lift my spirits.

Gold gloves, Silver Sluggers, Comeback player and rookie of the year all over the diamond.

Second-year jumps from Turang, Wiemer, Frelick and Perkins. 

Surprises from newcomers Ortiz, Ross, Junk and Haase.

I am so ready.

Hall and Gasser develop into #3 starters. Frelick, Chourio, Turang, Ortiz, (Black, Weimer, and Mitchell eventually) bats develop quickly. Adames, Contreras, Yeli, and Hoskins all get MVP votes. Freddy wins the Cy Young and the pen is dominant. On top of that the farm consistently develops and we have like 7-8 top 100 prospects at the end of the year.

And the Dodgers have a negative run differential, with a team ERA of 7.50. I am optimistic that is sustainable for another 160 games.

I know we are only 2 games into a 162 game season. But,I’m getting really good vibes from this team and Pat Murphy. I felt as if I was the only one who like the Pat Murphy decision. I think it’s going to work out. I’m really excited!

Since we are technically half a game behind the 3-0 pirates, sadly yes it is too early. But if we win and they lose today, it's time to get that thing going!
