Those of you with BTV I wonder what Crochett for Mitchell Black and Patrick looks like.   Please post the value if you can so my constant AI trolls “big red” and “turbo” can be humbled in a way that AI trolls can be humbled.

Check their posts as they add nothing to any discussion with ideas but do like to troll and make themselves holier than thou.   Russian bots…. Maybe!

From what I have seen as a non subscriber,

Crochet is 61.1

Mitchell is 10.8

Patrick is very minimal (usually guys like him are under 1.0)

Black is 13.3

So that trade isn't in the ballpark according to BTV

Thank you.   Seems high for Crochett though but we could add E Brown, Wiemer, Perkins, Yoho if Fedde came along with .  And add to the Sox a strong ptbnl

Fedde is worth more than all of those guys that you added. You are getting farther away

Ok, subtract Fedde and insert kopech then.   No yoho or ptbnl though.

crochet and kopech for Mitchell black wiemer Patrick brown Perkins.

thats fair

Seems White Sox are valuing Crochet very highly.  Miserioski probably begins their trade ask.   Crochet reads as basically done as a SP this season.  Brewers would be better off using Miserioski at RP as season winds down and a SP again next season, than acquire one.

Ok. That's pretty much what I figured it meant. Lol 🤦‍♂️

Are you serious? Lol just because people disagree with you, doesn't mean they're Russian, Chinese, AI bots, etc. Like The Kinks said...."Paranoiaaa may destroy yaaaaahh!"

Post some ideas rather than criticisms of my ideas.   What do you want us to do?   Post several over the next few days and I know that you are something beyond an AI troll.  I’ll wait and watch ….

Any package for Crochet starts with two of Misio/Pratt/Quero.

Mitchell has been hurt a bunch and is already over a year of service time, Black’s offensive game hasn’t been as eye popping in AAA and he can’t play defense, the Brewers have used 16 SP this year and Patrick still sits in AAA.

I’m guessing the White Sox will receive considerably more than that in return if they move Crochet.

”Post several over the next few days”…I’d prefer one quality trade proposal over an indeterminate number of ideas with minimal chance of coming to fruition.

What purpose does flooding the forum with lopsided, unrealistic offers serve?

It's just that like most sports fans, you obviously overvalue our prospects, and think teams are trade us top quality players/prospects, for all of our prospects who have been oft injured(Mitchell) and others who haven't been living up to their hype. Fans shouldn't let their emotions cloud their sense of judgment/reality. The players you've mentioned for possible trades, will require much more in return than the prospects you suggested. No offense was intended. It's just the truth. 🤷‍♂️

Ken Rosenthal just posted this about the Brewers (and Cardinals) interest in Fedde.

"As of 3 p.m. CT, the White Sox were planning to start Erick Fedde on Saturday and Garrett Crochet on Sunday, as scheduled.

Two NL Central teams are pushing for Fedde, according to sources briefed on the discussions. One is the Milwaukee Brewers. The other is believed to be the Cardinals."

Hey… let’s get both of them!!!

I'm not well versed enough with the talent in the farm to justify this.  I’m guessing there would have to be a third team involved or the Brewers would probably have to give up six players at least.

Crochet is unlikely to be traded.  Crochet wants to stay as a starter.  The team acquiring would have to agree to keep him as a starter.  Otherwise he will just sit out or just not report to the team.  He wants a contract extension if a team wants him to move to the bullpen because of concerns of innings pitched this year.

It is more likely Crochet finishes with the White Sox this year and gets traded in the offseason.

I don't like the idea of a bidding war with the Cardinals, but I would think we could beat them...  Question is, how much are we willing to give up?  This is a scary time for us prospect huggers.

Mitchell, P CarRod, and OF CarRod for Fedde and John Brebbia

Sox get 2 guys for now with really good upside and CarRod #2 as an eventual 4th OF. Fedde and Brebbia is another upside reliever. He has a 5 era but his strikeouts are way up and his FIP and advanced stats point to a much better pitcher. Remember the White Sox are one of the worst fielding teams. Also has a team option for next year.

It's alot to give up for Fedde but needed to think we have a chance this year. We could always trade him in the offseason as well if need be.

Agreed. That's the huge problem with AI though, and why it should be outlawed. Now with AI around, nobody truly knows what the truth is, or if it's an actual person that's conversing with them. Even more than before.

It would take much more than that to get Crochet in a trade. Pretty sure he doesn't hit arbitration for a couple years yet, at least.

Crochet wants a contract extension before agreeing to pitch in October. So he’s not willing to stress his arm without a guarantee agreed to first. Probably won’t be traded.

I also hope the Brewers don’t trade any blue chippers for Fedde. The bulk of his career he has been bad. (bWAR this year 4.7; career bWAR 4.3). Seems like a huge risk the clock will strike midnight at some point and he’ll be Lindblom Part 2.

Mlbtr article mentions the Brewers and Fedde. Mitchell maybe sorta as one the White Sox could be interested.

I just seen Cooper Pratt has found his way through graduation offs at 93 in MLB top 100.  I'd consider between between a Black or Pratt inclusion, This being who you dump Black on and Pratt moves into the Black role with Brewer depth charts.

huh?
