Five facts about Ted Williams' iconic life

Since I couldn't find a pic of Greg Brock that had his number in it, I went with the second best player to ever wear #9.

Seriously though, I wore 9 in every sport I played my whole life thanks to Teddy Ballgame.

Nobody ever talks about how 1982 could have played out if he was healthy and DH'ing.

Whenever I think of Larry Hisle I am reminded of Hisle Jr up at Minnesota missing the free throw with no time left that would have sent it to overtime.  Really felt bad for the kid that day.

I can't really explain why, but I loved Tony Graffanino as a Brewer. Gotta appreciate the scrappers :)

He was having a good season until the concussion thing. Wasn't that in SF?

We also need some Marquis Grissom photos.

That is my exact memory of Jr.

Larry, Jr is a GREAT guy and is doing well.

That broke my heart as a friend/acquaintance if his.

I know I've used this one before, but considering Ryan Braun's controversial late career, this man likely stands a better shot of being the first Brewers' #8 in the Hall of Fame ... Nellie Cruz

Sidenote, but Cruz was in the exact same suspension/bust as Braun

Oh, I don't think Cruz will actually make the HOF, but he still stands a better shot than Braun, even if that shot is .0001%.

I've always found it odd how some people are the devil for this and others it just gets overlooked and eveyrone loves them. Cruz and Bartolo as basic examples.   Ortiz walked right into the HOF, Pudge Rodriquez got a complete free pass.

JJ Hardy quietly one of the best power hitting shortstops in MLB history..

He hit more than 25 in a season twice. I don’t think that places him anywhere near  the best power hitting shortstops in MLB history.

Think about it: A-Rod, Ripken, Banks, Garciaparra, Machado, Lindor. By comparison  Hardy couldn’t hold their jocks.
