Freddy‘s last start on July 31 was six innings allowing 3 hits, 2 HR and 2 ER with 7 K against Atlanta.

Sale went 5.2 IP allowing six hits, 2 ER with 6 K against us.

It will be fascinating to see which pitcher improves or regresses the most compared to last week.

I don't know what Sale is selling, BUT he's due for a shelling and lots of Brewers fans yelling!

Po-tay-toh, Po-taw-tah --> we're gonna' win with Freddy Peralta!

I feel like Saleing would have been appropriate here.

I can't believe we didn't get a "Sale will fail". It's right there.

Nice to score some runs and pick up a comfortable win last night. Now need to turn it into a much needed series win.  Those have been hard to come by lately.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I think I prefer fingernails on a chalkboard to Levering’s “sweeeeng and a miss”.

A few years ago there was a stretch where they gave Freddy an opener because he couldn't pitch in the first inning.  Maybe those kid gloves need to come back on.

Pitch an opener for Freddy.    Pitch an opener for Freddy.    Pitch and opener for Freddy.     Pitch an opener  for Freddy.   Pitch an opener for Freddy.    Pitch an opener for Freddy

he puts us behind every game.    Every game

You know right away if you're getting good Freddy or bad Freddy.

By far the most disappointing player in recent Brewers history

I am always reluctant to tune in early when he’s on the mound

I would love for the Brewers to trade him this offseason

I was telling my teenage son today about how awesome it was the year he was born when we had CC Sabathia, Ben Sheets, Yovanni Gallardo, Eric Gagne, Jeff Suppan, and Derrick Turnbow.

He asked why we can't have good pitchers like that anymore. Anyone?

We are better when he is cheering for his teammates.

holy crap....this is grade A trolling...and on POST 4....well done I guess taking advantage of new management....

Usually, throwing in a pair of accurate statements within complete BS is standard for B grade trolling in order to gain a foothold, but the HOFer trolls just go for the throat right off the bat...

Has Soler always been that bad on defense?

Yup.

His -58 DRS ranks 133rd out of 139 outfielders with at least 3,000 innings since his debut in 2014.

He’s ten twenty runs worse than comically bad guys like Schwarber (-48 DRS) and Winker (-38 DRS).

Looks like Ortiz has also got rid of the samurai setup.

Bat head is starting close to the proper position and proper angle now.
