No confetti? I loved being there with the falling confetti.

I think maybe its a product of "been here too many times for that"?

This has a way different feeling than 2008 or 2011. We are used to this by now.

Although this is probably the least likely division champion I've ever seen as far as preseason expectations.

Did they assign someone to watch Williams so he doesn’t punch any walls?

So you've got 10 games left, and you either need go make up 3 games on the Dodgers or 4 on the Phillies to get a bye.

Do you at least push for it another few games? Or do you resign yourself to the 3 seed and make sure every relevant playoff roster player gets adequate rest over the rest of the season, wins and losses be damned?

You don’t push it.  But if it falls in your lap then give it a whirl.

I don’t think any team wants to back off with over a week to go…….im sure they will be smart but I don’t expect guys to sit until they are eliminated

There were streamers and fireworks.

I honestly feel so bad that Hudson isn't there to celebrate with the team.

Can someone explain to me this whole situation.   Does this have to do with hoby somehow.     Is he protected by some roster rule?

We were there when the Brewers shot confetti into the stands during the 2021 celebration.

It's definitely a cruel fate. Meanwhile, he was pitching game 1 at Norfolk and saw a routine ground out turn into his first base runner when Arroyo botched a grounder. No fair! No fair!

At least play through the weekend and see where you are.

They also kind of owe it to the league to not hand wins to the DBacks.

In 2021 they muddled through the last couple,of weeks and it continued into the playoffs.
