Great job, Megill! 17/19 is a good clip.  Should have consideration to be our All-Star.

Dayton Lane and Koenig haven't been good.

Koenig needs to get his head out of his butt.  Between not covering the bag and throwing a pitch that the play-by-play guy is telling him not to throw.  Contreras shared blame on that one as well.

I agree if Koenig just covers first no need for the great save.  This is a very big  home stand for the Crew can possibly close the gap on this homestand

The players have to play but manager has to help them. It isn't happening enough this season. If this game goes extras now what? Bauers?

Have to give him credit for going with the 4 out save to Megill, then. It was the right call and paid off.

Things getting interesting I put mostly on Hall and Koenig. Hall wasn’t effective at all. Koenig needs to cover the bag. Those were the two biggest factors in the score getting as close as it did.

Fun Fact: The Oak Ridge Boys bass singer (Richard Sterban) is a huge Brewers fan. He was a part owner of the Nashville Sounds years ago when Milwaukee was first affiliated with Nashville.

The Sounds did a bobblehead of him even...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

With a bunch of offense recently, playing well overall through what was supposed to be this really challenging part of the schedule and now having won 4 straight. I'm not too upset if some of the players tried to dial it back today. After the Twins player didn't even bother to run out the dropped strikeout to end the game last night there was every reason to think they might start phoning in the rest of today's game as well.

Anyone see Friday's game thread? I couldn't find it in the archive.

For whatever reason it's in the Front Page News forum titled - Jacob Misiorowski Starts His Career with a Hidden No-Hitter!

Brewers have the most wins against opponents with winning records in all of baseball. Tied with Dodgers and Rays.

Interestingly, the Brewers have picked up 12 of those 26 wins in the last two weeks.

3 against the Cardinals, 1 against the Cubs, and 8 because the Reds and Red Sox have moved over .500 since June 8..

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I noticed this morning someone posted an interview with curt schilling and he talks about misiorowski for like half the interview.  he was immediately attacked and a few hours later i noticed the post was gone. assuming the resident nose ring purple hair moderator permabanned the guy
