Yeah, for as much of a head start as Tatum, Giannis, and Jokic had on their playoff careers it's looking like SGA might be the first superstar of the post-LBJ/Curry Era to end up with two rings.

Not this year.

Winning a championship is hard.

Yeah, now looking like Giannis & SGA teaming up might be the only way to stop Wemby.

They have a lot of resources, so I'd be for that...

Granted, when the Bucks are out of contention, I don't mind cheering for San Antonio... Kind of funny how their history of superstars are all centers.

OKC has kind of always been the dream fit if they could manage to thread that needle.

One of Jalen Williams or Chet Holmgren as the main salary match, plus whichever combo of Cason Wallace, Nikola Topic, Thomas Sorber, and Ajay Mitchell as young prospects to round out the financials, then they've got #12 and #17 in this year's draft plus a stockpile of other future firsts they could offer.

I think it's a pipe dream. OKC loses a Game 7 in what was most likely the de facto Finals. They are already "there." There's no reason to mortgage all the assets for Giannis when they can get the team incrementally better this summer without giving up anything.

Giannis wants the ball in his hands, too. I'm not sure his ego could handle being in the room with SGA. I like Giannis and all, no issues with anything he's done or said, but he's not he same guy he was even 5 years ago as far as humility goes.

If Giannis is traded it sounds like it will be to Miami.  Something like Herro and picks for Giannis is the current rumor.

One quiet solace for all small market sports fans who have to watch the Dodgers buy their way to the top every year is the comforting knowledge that pretty much as long as I’ve ever known, the ESPN favorite Knicks always suck.

Now we don’t even have that.

Strange as it sounds for me to even type this, but I actually like this Knick team. Two all stars with defensive flaws (Brunson and Towns), two almost all stars that could never quite make it (Anunoby and Bridges), two ballers (Hart and Alvarado), two Knick draft picks with potential that could never seem to put it together (Robinson and McBride), a solid coach that's been hired and fired multiple times for failing to bring home the trophy (Mike Brown), and suddenly as the playoffs begin, something clicks and they're only two games away. Plus as a Bucks fan, we know how it feels to endure the roller coaster of crappy, average, above average, really good teams/coaches/front offices for 50 years before finally winning it all.  I'm really rooting for them to put the breaks on the Wemby train and finish the job.

I have confidence that Towns will disappear under pressure per usual.

I've finally come to a decision on this finals matchup.  I don't care if either team wins.  The Knicks, while a new York team, have sucked enough that I'm ok if they get one.  However, if they win I hope they win all 4 on the road.

Remember what Yoda said:

Hearing that Miami maybe close to putting a deal together for Giannis and the Bucks have reached out to Boston to gauge their interest.  Could possibly be a three team trade with Boston, Milwaukee and Portland.

Brown to Portland, Giannis to Boston Milwaukee receives their picks back from Portland plus a future first and receive one first from Boston.  That would be my guess here.  Some expiring contracts going back to Milwaukee also in this scenario.  The Bucks wouldn’t get any young talent back in this trade.

Also Giannis doesn’t want to play in the Western conference and may not sign an extension with a team in the Western conference.  This eliminates Portland and Minnesota as possible trade partners.  No interest so far from the Thunder.

The Spurs as an org have a lot of soul searching to do to rationalize starting Fox over Harper. What are they thinking? Fox is such a Low IQ basketball player - like a rich man's lefty Monta Ellis. He was awful and cost the Spurs dearly. Put the ball in Harper's hands and get Fox the heck off the floor.

I'm not sure you can blame Fox completely for the Spurs losing.  Harper also contributed to losing especially in game 4.  The game 4 meltdown was mostly on the coaching staff.  Why were they shooting so many threes in that game.  They were up big and all they had to do was get the ball in.  Wembi looked like a confused and young Giannis where he didn't know what to do in the game and how to close out a game.  I still don't know if Giannis knows how to do this.  If it wasn't for Middleton I don't think Giannis wins a championship at least not in Milwaukee.

I think Brunson won this more than Fox losing it.
