Why do guys turn their heads and look at the catcher when trying to steal? Turang was out by a mile.

Vinny talked about that awhile go……thy are trained to do that to see if the ball is swung at……it really doesn’t slow them down much if at all he said.

Gotcha, I didn’t see that. The pitch count seems low but he’s still early on coming back from a major injury, so I’m sure if he’s hit his limit he knows it.

They said on the broadcast that they want to be careful with how many times Woody gets up and down.  I.e., going out on the mound six times starting-and-stopping is about the max they want him to do, regardless of pitches.

I think an underrated thing with how Arnold set this team up is with the elimination of the shift putting balls in play and running bases were going to be an underrated skill/value

I love that the Brewers will reach the “best record in all of MLB” in game 100. No one I know would have won that bet. What an incredible turnaround for this team. Love their spunk & camaraderie. Murphy is one of the most inspirational managers I can recall. This team is fun to watch & legitimately does “everything“ well except hit for power.

I'd like to hear more about what Weeks does daily. If you are another organization how could you not call and talk to him if you have an opportunity? Pirates?

If Rodriguez had walked, I wonder if they would have considered intentionally walking the dumper to avoid the possibility of a slam. Probably not because you’d still be up 2, but the thought still goes through one’s mind.

Glad we didn’t have to find out
