The d backs one was weird.     He warmed up then Murphy sat him down then the other reliever sucked so he had to warm up and come in.   I actually don’t fault him for that.    Murphy probably should have just had him finish the game.

Was running a little late to the game tonight, so almost passed up on the getting my usual scorecard.  But quick got one anyways thinking "what if...".  And still got to my seat one second before the first pitch.

Yes,  Megill got a blown save when he gave up the 9th inning HR to Arcia and the Rockies went on to win in extra innings. 

So, the Brewers are 3-2 in the 5 games in which he was charged with a blown save. 

The other blown save was last Saturday night against the Reds. That was a cheap one because he only allowed the free runner to score to tie the game. The Brewers went on to win in the 11th.

Vaughn is a good player, but it wouldn't kill him to get a game off once in a while. No reason Bauers can't start against a tough righty every once in a while. I could see him starting tonight against Webb even.

Yeah, he doesn't look quite the same as of late(which was to be expected). 

This team looks flat and you look and they're still 4.5 games up on... MLB. 

So we just need Chourio to come back and get back in a groove. I like Bauers also. He's an outstanding defender and usually puts together good at bats... I guess. I mean, for being a backup, he's fine. He'll walk and hit for some power. He's not a star, but just to give Vaughn a break here and there, he's alright.
