Felt like the team just hung on in a three-run win. These appetizers of playoff baseball games during the last couple weeks show how stressful they can be for the fans. Don’t know what the players feel.

Gained a game on the Cubs, Phillies, and Dodgers.  And the Padres and Mets if you're looking way into the rear view mirror.  A good day of baseball.

These games can be painful.  But we win.   Cubs lose.    Best thing that can happen.   Happened.  We just need to keep them at arms length until about ten games left

The Cubs aren't catching the Brewers as has been the overwhelming probability for like a month. Are we going to do the "but their schedule!" thing again? They have lost 60 games.

With the brewers up 7.5 in the dodgers and ten in the Padres the bye will be secured as long as we hold off cubs now in my opinion

The Cubs are 5-5 in their last 10 games, mostly against teams way below 0.500.

The Brewers are 5-5 in their last 10 against two of the other best teams in baseball and clubs right at 0.500.

 

Might take more than the rest of September for the Cubs to gain 6 games of ground at that rate no matter who they are playing.  Tucker isnt 100% and PCA has sucked since being named an all star.

They're more stressful when the team has surrendered several big leads in recent weeks, including some they’ve held on to.
