Until he's injured from overuse.

Ashby was starter if your looking at his stats. So it would be a higher IP.

I’m pretty sure manager would know about who’s overused or can pitch than some random people on a message board

You're right. But managers are human and have overworked pitchers in this league.

You don’t think the pitching coach or bullpen coach can’t tell if he’s tired or needs a break?

We have been really bad running the bases lately (and most of the year).

I thought I saw a stat where we were first in the league in base running statistics?

It just sucks that you roster two relief pitchers that Murphy does not want to use in yoho and Rodriguez.

Sure.  But sometimes players say they're good when they're not and sometimes managers and bullpen coaches want to win and they see what they want to see.  I'm not sure why this is surprising.

I know Jansen is in theory a power threat at the plate, but I'm never going to be excited about acquiring somebody that was hitting .204. Kind of like all the people that wanted us to add Gallo back in the day. No thanks.

51.3% hard hit rate, .820 OPS and 127 wRC+ vs lefties as a Ray. I understood the move and even liked it with Contreras not hitting well at the time. It just didn't work out

14.3% hh rate, .521 OPS and 52 wRC+ vs LHP as a Brewer. No clue why he cratered

OK, we have limited pitchers who is your choice?

You don't think a manager ever overworked a pitcher because he wanted to win? Like Dillard said, it worked better when we had DL Hall to take a turn.

At some point I would rather have Patrick and gasser be a reliever.   I think Murphy would have more faith in those guys

Why doe everyone think a reliever can only go one inning?
