Feels like we’re living in a dream. I never want this season to end. With any luck we can ride it for a few more weeks.

Let’s just get one more win here first

The Cubs looked absolutely lifeless after the first inning.  Like they looked completely defeated after the first inning.

Hopefully the Brewers can continue to put the pressure on the Cubs like they have and wrap this up on Wednesday.

That Vaughn homer was a killer for them

Great win.   Tonight’s the night to celebrate.    We can debate what Murphy did tonight.   I have good and bad thoughts about it

but who cares for tonight.   Up 2-0

If you told me we gave up 3 total runs in a bullpen game and got 3 innings out of Miz I would be over the moon.

Just don’t tell me any other details.

I'm not greedy... just 9 more wins this year is all I need.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Let's give Murph some credit where credit is due.

Use the bullpen for a home game, save Priester for Chicago where his tendency to get ground balls can take the wind out of the equation.

I think the ONLY move he made that I would have... was bringing Koenig back out to face Tucker in the 8th... and even that wasn't a huge edge given his splits.

But now Patrick is still available for innings, Miz has some confidence... just an incredible game and Murph deserves all the credit.

Vaughn deserves some as well. The playoffs are SO much tougher the later you go without scoring, so coming back and putting runs on the board in the 1st was massive.

Well, shoot. That game was incredible. The homers were obviously wunderbar but that game was entirely about Miz, Patrick, and Abner for me. Man alive if they continue to pitch like that?

Murph and Hook know things.

They do, Henderson... Murphy clearly trusts them... and how many guys on down the line are responsible for getting these guys up here and helping them figure it out....

TV execs dont want it because its Milwaukee, but this team has so much going for it in terms of young and exciting players contributing everywhere on this roster, plus some veteran star power.

Chourio would already be in the HOF if he was doing this as a 21 yr old Yankee or Dodger in the playoffs.  And Miz coming out throwing 103-104?

Quick look at weather apps shows predicted weather for Wednesday early evening in Chicago is Upper-50s with winds from the NE around 10mph. So if that holds, it should be the wind blowing in from CF at Wrigley. Get Priester and the ground balls along with some help on anything up in the air.
