Keep beating the Cardinals, this is fun. And tonight, we get to watch Harrison again! But also, look at that bullpen chart. It's all red, which means every reliever in the past five days has thrown over 20 pitches in their appearance. Is this a trend? Interesting.

The brewers crack me up.    They just basically tell every team they are playing we are going to handicap ourselves with half the lineup as some of the worst hitters ever assembled.   Basically like the Mendoza Line Avengers and then win the game 5-1

well at least it’s funny for the first 50 games or so.      It might not be so funny in 100 games but we can worry about that later I guess

That may have been true a couple weeks ago, not so much with Yelich, Vaughn, and Chourio back. And I think you need to look at some of the other lineups around the league. No one's running out 8-9 hitters batting a reasonable average.

Yesterday, for example, yes Rengifo, Perkins, and Ortiz have putrid season numbers. Everyone else is .700+ OPS or better.

The Cardinals have 5 players below .700 (although one is just barely).

Surely the vaunted Dodgers lineup must be way better? Nope, they have 3 players below .700 (although to be fair, they're closer to .700 than the Brewers 3).

Maybe those guys struggling now will have enough at bats to figure it out and be good in 100 games. They are certainly not going to get any better sitting on the bench.

To be fair to frelick, Perkins, Hamilton, rengifro, Ortiz also is what they lack in actually hitting the ball safely they make up for it for not having any power whatsoever

its really remarkable the loophole the brewers organization exploited by finding players like that

The other crazy thing is this a Brewers' issue only. No other teams (and especially no contending teams!) have offensive issues throughout their lineups.
