Chourio is a DH

He should be!  For a guy that can run with the best of them his judgement of fly balls is one of the worst in the MLB.  Even Drohan couldn't believe it.

Haha, I was outside and came back to see Chourio is "now a DH" and thought he did something bad. Then saw the home run and we are mad he didn't bring that back?! Some of you are DH fans 😆

Thanks for sharing your opinion.

I didn’t plan on having to take the position today that the Brewers should not move their star 22 year old player to DH at 22 years old.

He jumped into the wall instead of, UP!  And does it frequently.

I have zero confidence in him on balls at the wall … & for good reason

That’s a pretty tiny fraction of the plays a LF has to make.

With his general speed and athleticism it would be a waste to just use him as a DH when that spot can be filled by someone who can’t play in  the field at all.

I’m willing to give him the opportunity to learn the position. I also remember the HR that he stole that saved a game against the Twins last year.

Maybe with some more experience he’ll be a better LF when he’s a grizzly old veteran of 24. It would be a waste of talent and potential to use him as a DH.and put someone in LF that can steal a HR 2 or 3 times a year but can’t hit a lick.

Fry waving at the HR as he rounded the bases chaps me. I hope he gets the “Bob Gibson treatment” later today.

I'm not watching, but I think that's usually waving at the bullpen.

I don't think a lot of people understand they are always calling out to their bullpen when they do that. It's actually kind of fun being at a game by the bullpen (minor leagues especially) and watching the bullpen call for a shout out after a HR.

You guys are hysterical.

When even our homer announcers are saying it was a pretty poor defensive play, you can safely assume it was a pretty poor defensive play.

Vinny Rottino is a homer beyond all homers all the time.

There’s a difference between acknowledging that a defensive play was poor and declaring the offending player a DH only player because of it.

Big difference between a poor play and calling for him to be a DH. Come on man.

I'm not calling him a DH but it was one of the worst attempts at the wall I've ever seen and his attempts at the wall are always bad..  Like it's honestly baffling how unaware of the wall he is.

Yes. Which 100% appears to be a correctable, coachable mistake that he’s making. Not an athletic limitation that dooms him to jumping into the wall for the rest of his career.

I don’t know. He’s 22 years old and you can’t teach old dogs new tricks
