I saw Wilson was getting chirped in the IGT last night but he is so much more valuable to us than a one inning guy like Kuhnel or a guy trying to find it again like Koenig.

Is there any way they keep Wilson? I kind of like what he brings, but when Hall comes back, somebody has to go a) from the big-league roster, and b) from the 40-man. Anyone on the 40-man DFA'able instead?

Hall has been gone a while but never on the 60 man, will see how it plays out with McCullers as well and other injuries. Guys like Gasser and Yoho can always go to the minors if necessary.

It wouldn't be the biggest surprise to me if the Brewers sent down Sproat to consolidate some of his innings and give him a few turns through the AAA rotation to tinker with some things. Wilson/Hall could get us through a game until Harrison is ready to come back and that would preserve Wilson on the roster for a few more weeks to safeguard against the next inevitable injury.

I think they still need to make a 40-man roster decision with Hall coming off IL. Might be wrong about that, though.

I don't believe so. As someone mentioned above he has been on the 15day IL this whole time so he has never left our 40man roster.

I think that could happen, if not soon then at some point. The McCullers role might play a part in that as could, as always, health. I've felt for awhile now that if it was between working out of the BP & starting at AAA for Sproat I'd take the latter.

I think the plan for McCullers would be to build up and join the starting rotation (assuming all goes well).  Otherwise he and Wilson are pretty redundant.

I think the Yoho YoYo continues... back down to AAA for now.  He is improving at the MLB level, but not a lock for the BP yet - reminds me of Hall a couple of years ago that way.

Gasser has been very up and down too.  Looks great one game and blah the next.  I think you take the chance on McCullers in his spot (once he is built up) and use Gasser as depth for now.

Hall is on the 15 day DL and not the 60, so no 40-man roster shuffle needed.

True. Sproat to AAA is another decent option.  Flip a coin between him and Gasser.. but its been Gasser doing the traveling for now.

Any chance we score before fifth today

Any chance we don't give up 2 runs in the 1st?

Brandon Lockridge will also soon be on his way to join Triple-A and will travel there tomorrow to start his rehab assignment.
