BA can just fade off into the sunset as far as I'm concerned.

He's nauseating.

For no particular reason I had the last few innings on mute.

I got a kick out of BA on Sunday when Chourio was hitting w/no one on base down 7-2, on a 3-0 count: "Let's see if Chourio has the green light here,"

I also get annoyed at him rocking the "PCA" nickname. That's fine for national guys, Ron Coomer & Pat Hughes. I'd rather a Brewer announcer not refer to him that way (I know, unimportant).

A Cubs loss tomorrow will put them as close to last place in the division as they are first place.

Had to go down to Chicago Tuesday for a work meeting, my co-worker was in a big rush to tell me we needed to look over our shoulders after Monday, going to guess he doesn't have much to say tomorrow.

Obviously Miz is big time but I do want to see him prove it in big games once playoffs arrive. Hopefully getting the disasters out of the way now.

Tell him "Nah, I don't think STL has a run left in them."

Another favorite of mine is "Oh, you're a fan of Chicago. The ummmm.....ah, damn, you know.......help me out......not the White Sox, the OTHER team..........."

If the cubs could find any kind of pitching they could be tough to play in a short series.    They can just hit

but good god they just can’t hold anyone down at all.     They made Miz and Harrison look like scrubs.   That’s not easy to do

Other guys are hitting so it’s not fair to just throw it on one guy but this offense scores when yelich actually shows up    He’s doing a job right now

I'm wondering if the Brewers are getting concerned about Miz. His velocity is down in the last 3 games and so are the Ks. Tonite he didn't have anything that was working and it showed. They are concerned about Harrison's decreasing velocity, and Miz is showing signs of wear too.

I'd give him 2 weeks off personally.

Awesome 2 wins.

After a rough loss Monday the last 2 wins have been really gritty. Brewer baseball at it's best (minus starting pitching).

If we can win tomorrow it would feel like the ultimate smack down to Cubs fans. We give them a ton of hope after the Monday blowout and then turn the screws on the division and put them all back in there place.

At least skip a start and just let him take a breath. I doubt Misi would want to do that but it would help as a reset. Then ease him into a a full workload maybe starting at 75 or so pitches.

Yeah but we all knew he wasn’t gonna hit .180 forever. Baseball tends to average itself out over the course of the year

All our announcers talk up the Meathead way too much in my opinion.

I was just thinking… Brewers need to capitalize on this soon because if the Cubs just pick up a few decent bullpen arms (which you would think they can with their payroll), our little fun run of dominance in the Central could come crashing down real quick.

Whatever let’s just enjoy this while we have it.

I wonder if Turang needs to take a couple weeks off.    He’s hurt?

also why the heck is tomorrow another night game

Tomorrow's a national FOX game, so no getaway day game.

Another LA loss last night. It's still going to take until the end to wrap up the seeding, but 4.5 games plus a tie breaker is pretty good

There were some other explanations that make sense for Miz having an off night, but it seemed that over the last few starts that his control has suffered a bit when he started throwing with less effort. From a development stand point trying to help him figure out how to pitch even more with slightly less velocity makes sense, but I hope come playoff time we get back to letting him just deal.

I'm in the "blame the conditions" camp for Miz's outing. Living a couple hours west of Chicago, it was an absolute nightmare yesterday. Hottest I've been since peak summer in Raleigh. Felt like walking out into a bowl of soup, covered and left on low boil.

You saw the hand sweat. Hard to grip the ball. Plus, the homer to Bregman (who's been hearing a whole lot of trash cans lately) was kind of the usual Miz homer. Just a good hitter, making contact with a good fastball.

Obviously, he's looked significantly more human the last few starts. Maybe does need a break. But there's a whole lot of noise around last night that makes it tough for me to do anything other than give the guy a full pass.
