Per the Brewers website - Lyon Richardson's contract was selected by the Brewers from Nashville today.   So, what is the deal?   And if he does pitch tonight, he better have that jersey buttoned up.

Oh yeah, Colton Gordon getting a Brewers Treatment after a great outing.  I gotta admit it feels a little like cheating when we do these.

I don’t think that’s a sign of pulling up. They were just using a bullpen game to fill a hole created while Snell nurses his groin injury.

Shutting out the streaking Padres might make you think that their bullpen is not really a “fatal flaw”. It’s just the one part of their rooster that isn’t loaded with All Stars and future Hall of Famers. 

They will have Yamamoto and Glasnow the next two nights.

Yeah, I just meant they often will have a guy pitch, then instead of being a burned arm in the bullpen, they'll option him and bring up somebody ready to pitch now. 

It feels like having extra guys in the bullpen.

Sal is getting on base about 21% of the time this month and has one single extra base hit, a double. 

It is really hard to justify him starting at all in the playoffs.

Henderson looks off today. He seems frustrated but I wonder how much the "waiting around for the postseason to start" mentality is affecting these guys right now.

Sal can be on the roster as a RF/defensive replacement I guess, but I'm not sure I'd rate his defense better than any of our other OFs besides Chourio who you're not gonna pull.
