I don't see how his performance today means anything WRT his starting in the Post Season. Who else would you possibly put ahead of him if he has a less than good outing?

If Gasser has an extraordinarily poor outing and May mows down the Memphis Redbirds tomorrow… 🤷‍♂️

Gasser has been trending better than May as of late....but that scenario would jumbo that all up.  Good luck to Murph to figure this all out.

so much fun to sit back and relax on the final 3 games no Pressure to win  just staying healthy. I think the only one who has some pressure is Gasser to see if he can be the team Number 3 guy.

May and Gasser seem like plausible options to piggyback in the postseason. Not sure I’d want either facing a line up twice.

Cubs lose their first game in Boston. That opens the door slightly for the Phillies to take the 5 seed. I’d love to see the Cubs out of the Brewers bracket.

The loss also reduces their chances of taking the home field in the wild card round., but that is still tight. 

it would be funny to see the Cubs and Red Sox forced to fly to Tampa to play theIf final game on Sunday

All year I've wanted cubs out of our bracket and generally thought they were the 3rd best team in the NL.   I'll still hate to play them since losing would be so painful.  But at this point, they're fairly clearly the worst team in the NL wildcars and their pen has showed no signs of rebounding.  If you took out the rivalry and them filling the stadium stuff, there's no way we should rather face SD/Phi than them.
