I let him go until trouble.   I don't see the rush to yank him.   Especially for a huge question mark like a Patrick.  Have guys ready to go, but the longer he can last the better in a game like this that could go extras.    I think Bottom of the order starts next inning, try to get through that one at least.   Probably have Hall ready to go for Freeman if there's issues

I don't want him to face the 3rd time through if he gets in ANY trouble. 

You have to be proactive here.
