At this moment, I don't think either team can hang with us!

I was kind of hoping for Cleveland, but only because I thought TB would be tougher to beat, but who cares, BRING THEM ON!

Yeah, I almost don't like the week off.

It doesn’t get much better than this.

I feel happy for all of the loyal posters on the board who are savoring this moment.

It's kind of awesome they get to do this on the Dodgers field, in front of the Dodger fans (if there are any left).

Would be even better at home, but I don't mind rubbing it in like this at all!

Seriously. You couldn't write a better script for getting back at the Dodgers after last year's devastating sweep. The small market, no power-having, small ball dorks dismantling the most morally bankrupt team in baseball...by record breaking power pitching and launching homers like it’s the steroid era. Unbelievable.

Mark Wolters!

I actually... can't really hate any of the players. They all seem like nice guys... BUT, they can be nice guys on vacation next week!

I’m at an absolute loss of words!! I can’t believe the Brewers are going to the World Series!  I remember the early days on this site, rooting for that 81 win season to now going to the Series. It has been a long time coming. To quote Major League, “Win the whole ******* thing!”

I do love Christian Yelich!

He's suddenly become a good interview.

To be fair to may.  He sucked it up after the disaster and gave us a chance to come back.    If we are going to use him next series just start him.    Reliever ain’t going to work

He made a really poorly located pitch to Ohtani & other than that was mostly OK. I agree starting him as an opener is the better option.

Its been a great community for 25 years!

Crazy to think of what started as good discussion on ESPN message boards in the early 2000s became something that has lasted for decades.  For whatever reason tonight, was thinking about Mark Loretta (many of us called him "the captain" back then) accepting the folded American Flag as they closed County Stadium... and then an offseason of debating (maybe winter 2000-2001) if we should trade Loretta...

It still isn't real that we're going to the World Series!

It kind of felt like both '25 and '26 were going be transition years, both years, with young and unproven pitchers and moving away from the likes of Burnes, Adames, Peralta. This year we lost Priester and Woody and Zerpa early, started with what looked like a mystery meat left side of the infield, seemed likely to have innings limits and injuries with young pitchers all up and down the roster. I was certain we'd struggle to live up to the standards set in '25.

Like a lot of folks, I was in junior high in '82 and figured the Brewers would be good for the foreseeable future, that we'd have another chance. Savor it while we can, folks, this is the golden age.
