It would be very “2026 Brewers” to win the pennant on the scheduled punt game of the series.

I can't believe we're on the verge of this. I said all year this felt like the one, but then when you actually get the Dodgers and start looking at the team again it starts to feel impossible. I assumed the path there would involve them slipping up in an earlier round and getting a good draw. I thought there was a path, but it would go to the brink and take everything. I just never saw being up 3-0 as realistic.

All the suffering this franchise has endured, especially for those like me born after '82, who have never seen the great triumph. Ten years ago, I genuinely never thought I would see the Brewers in a World Series. That I might see the Bucks and Brewers in a Finals/WS within the same 6-year span is just not something I ever thought possible.

Many of you were nervous waiting all day yesterday for the game, but I felt pretty chill.

That is not the case today. This will be just the third game in history the Brewers will have an opportunity to clinch a pennant, Game 5 in ‘82 and Game 7 in 2018 were the previous times. Game 7 of 2018 never felt like much of a chance…just felt like an uphill battle the way the Dodgers were loaded and ready that game.

I just want the game to get here, but I am not going to freak too much about tonight's outcome if negative. If they drop tomorrow, I'll be a wreck.

This just feels weird, 3-0. Throughout the season and the NLDS, I really tried to pace myself, emotionally, knowing there were much larger games coming. And there are, but I was expecting a lot more deficits to stress over.

Dammit, game is on FS1 and my Delta flight only has 16 TV channels.  ESPN, ESPN2, and Fox but no FS1.

Don't know if the wifi has bandwidth for a decent experience watching on YouTube TV app or website.

We have so many outs available in the bullpen but a lot of those guys haven't thrown in a week or two.

May for 6-9 outs to start? Then you have Romero, Drohan, Harrison for the top of the order and Senza/Patrick for the extended bottom half and let the chips fall as they may? Ashby/Hall/Megill are a no go unless the pennant is there to be had.

What a wild last sentence I just wrote.

Could try to download the Fox Sports App and see if it will be televised on that.

Delta has free wifi on my flight!  I can just go to YouTubeTV.com since I already subscribe to YouTubeTV.

Even better. Great way to pass the time on a flight too.

It's the playoffs - so rules don't matter obviously. Close the series out if it is there.

But in a perfect world I would love to get Drohan and Patrick and Harrison an inning each somehow. Get the jitters out. Let them be nervous and feel the crowd.

Not sure I would love to have anyone make their post season debut on the road in Gm 3 of the World Series after not having faced a live hitter in 2+ weeks.

Fox One is pretty easy to circumvent. Can get a new trial with a new CC and email endlessly.

The fact that you have to jump through hoops and circumvent anything to watch NLCS games absolutely sucks, though. Apparently episodes of the terrible reality shows Hell's Kitchen and Special Forces: World's Toughest Test are more important to Fox. MLB really needs to take notes from the NFL on how to make games easily accessible to the masses.

I don't understand that at all. It's not a ratings call because the Masked Singer has significantly lower ratings than every NLCS game of prior seasons.

The grouping of these words in this order dumbfound me in the most amazing, crazy, chaotic and unbelievable way possible. And I absolutely love it. We have a potential of 4 more games to win 1, while the Dodgers cannot lose any one of them. Those odds are most definitely in our favor. I'm thankful the game got moved up an hour, so it's one less hour I have to live in anxiety and anticipation.

Even up 3-0, it still feels a little bit impossible to me. It's weird. I look at the Dodgers and think how impossible it seems to be able to beat Cy Young starters four times, how impossible it is to keep that lineup in check. But somehow the Brewers have done it.

Still have to do it one more time, and part of me thinks the Dodgers can ride those pitchers to four in a row, but the Brewers are doing a good job of beating the paranoid pessimist out of me.

How about this order?

The Milwaukee Brewers are one win away from the World Series.

Mind blown if I stop and think about it. Honestly, I know how I'd react and it definitely wouldn't be the manliest way possible. But we're not there yet.

Hopefully, there is no such thing as a punt game in the playoffs.

Instead, we'll do our best with what we have, we don't have a choice.

Murphy will put the best lineup he can on the field, and see where the pitching takes us.

No way can we punt a game of this magnitude.

It will be interesting to see how Murph uses the bullpen this game from a strategic standpoint.

With a 3-0 series lead, Murphy has the luxury to rest guys who need it.  Uribe may be the first sign of the overuse of the bullpen.

On the flip side, seems like it could be dangerous to give a game away here.  LA could gain some offensive momentum throughout the rest of the series if it has a hit parade today because Murph decides to rest his high leverage arms.

A close loss (vs blow out loss) may force LA to utilize one or more of their starters in relief (all hands on deck) which may give us a decided advantage in upcoming games.

Not sure there is a right/wrong answer but something that could be applauded or criticized afterwards depending on how things playout.

I was a bit tongue-in-cheek in saying that but don't expect them to deploy the high leverage relievers if we're trailing.
