I think a lot of those Florida tickets are going to transplants.  I bet the crowd is at least 30% Brewers.  We already had game 4 tickets and we were going to stay with my sister who lives outside of Tampa but was able to pick up tickets to game three and a hotel room within waking distance pretty easily this morning.

I think of it more as the Brewers offensive approach has the bigger advantage against a guy like Peralta.  Freddy may come out and dominate us but we've driven up pitch counts against pitchers much better at keeping pitch counts low.  We aren't going to be the indians swinging at everything.  The narrative is that Freddy has been on a bender, and he has, but the underlying numbers suggest a luck.

This. Peralta has had issues over the years AFA keeping a manageable pitch count. If that doesn't become an issue for him by the 4th or 5th inning it'll be disappointing, and a surprise.

Sal almost got put into Milwaukee sports immortality if that ball gets over the wall

I don't know how it DIDN'T.

The fly ball he hit and the one Mitchell hit earlier both looked gone off the bat.

Well, we've faced a lot of pitchers who have looked unstoppable recently, until they faced us.

Until someone stops our pesky offense, and our bullpen, who is on a bender of their own, I think we have the upper hand.

If the Rays weren't playing us, I would 100% for sure be cheering for them to win the World Series.

I absolutely love and I'm in awe of all that Ashby has done this postseason but I don't want to see him on Monday. He seemed to show some wear in that last inning and wasn't able to locate his pitches as well. Give him a rest

I guess I personally didn't look too much into the 3 ball count to Diaz to end it. Ashby clearly said after the game he was well aware there were two lefties to follow. I'm actually surprised he through a first pitch fastball in the zone. That 3-1 curve was a stones pitch to set up the dirt ball to follow. I actually thought Ashby looked fairly clean tbh?

He had today off. He can rest on Wednesday and the next few months.

I'd love to not see him, either, but because Gasser goes 6 and departs with a 5+ run lead. But if it's a 1-run game in the 7th? We will see him.

Only other Packer fans will relate to this, but I remember the Tramon Williams pick 6 off Matt Ryan in the 2010-11 divisional round just before halftime as the “they are not going to be stopped, are they?” moment of their Super Bowl run.

I think Chourio walking off Miller will be remembered as that playoff moment for the Brewers.

Great comparison because #38's pick 6 was exactly that moment for me in 2011... but for me this year it was the Bauers/Mitchell B2B bombs off Snell. While the Chourio walk off was amazing, it was only win 2 of 11 and the Dodgers were looming...

This is a pretty crazy stat

Turns out it's a lot easier to come back in games if your bullpen doesn't give up any runs.

It's really a question of whether he'll be effective on short rest, not whether he's willing to go the extra mile for the team.

I was just going to propose this. It should matter the angle. If the bat angle goes positive...it's a swing. It's something that should be a quick replay with or without a challenge.
