I can't stand Simpson. Anything not in the air he's on base. I hope he becomes a Brewer.

He’s bunty without the…power

He saw the ball going through to third. Caminero made a really heads-up play to come into the infield and cut it off, rather than staying at third base. No Pratt probably shouldn't have been that aggressive, but Caminero did a really good job there.

In the replay Caminero looked Frelich back.

This, Sal HAS to try to score on that, that's why Coop did that, just like Contreras the other night.

No, Pratt definitely thought he was going to sneak into 2nd base because the throw went past the cut off man straight to third.

But it was so bad they cut it off early and Pratt got caught in a pickle, literally.

Not that Frelick did anything wrong, but I wish he had tried breaking for home when Pratt was in the rundown. Best case maybe a bad throw to the plate and everyone is safe, worst case he gets thrown out but then Pratt still gets into scoring position and you haven’t really lost anything.

When Aranda is running TOWARD 2nd and there's nobody near 3rd, the 3B coach needs to be in his ear... and I suspect he was telling him to get back(someone may have been back at 3rd by that point, the pitcher perhaps).

But you HAVE to put the pressure on the defense there. Especially a 1B... hell... I'd have been fine with him getting thrown out and having Pratt on 2B.

We hit the ball a couple times and hopefully Mis is getting in a groove.

On real time I thought I saw a brief wince from Frelick as he got to 3rd, so I wonder if he was just a hair less aggressive in the moment

Right, but when he's is in the pickle, THAT'S when he should be going...

If you're going to have a bunt out in one pitch, try to make it one where you don't get thrown out by 5 steps.

Caminero is a fraud.  That leg crap last night was complete garbage.  He looks just fine.

Ok... I don't mind that bunt at all.

I do not, doesn't help drive the pitch count.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

He does have to have surgery on his knee and shoulder... so there is that.

Murph told Hammy a games ago that a first AB bunt means he'll see good pitches to hit the rest of the night.

Atlanta area, I was in the carpool line at my kid's school and let a parent back out of a visitor's space. They had a Brewers cap, tonight's style, on their dash. I choose to believe that's a good omen.
