I gotta go with the D-Backs, since I've cheered for them since their inception.

Won't be going to any post-season games this time around, though. My cousin, who worked in the front office, moved to Minnesota this year. Good bye, free playoff/WS tickets!

That's alright, though. Been there, done that anyways.

Wait, I forgot baseball is dead and nonexistant once the Brewers are done.

nice to see that you are a true baseball fanhttp://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif, just because the brewers are done, doesn't mean baseball is.

Yeah, I love baseball and will catch as much of the playoffs as I can. But, assuming the Brewers do not pull off a miracle this week, some of the joy of watching the postseason has been taken away because I'll be thinking of what could have been.

I've liked the Padres to the WS all season...hopefully they don't make it to the playoffs though if you get my meaning. If they do however, I like them in the NL, and I would love a Yankee/Indian ALCS...and I don't care who wins. Like 'em both.

I've cheered for them since they got rid of the purple and teal. So pretty much this year.

I'm still furious I couldn't make it to any of the Tribe-Angels games in Milwaukee, two of my favorite AL teams, both good teams this year and I couldn't make it. I'm hoping for more snow in April for Cleveland, and none for us.

1. Rockies (if they make it)

2. Whoever is playing the Cubs

3. AL: Cleveland

Question: Since Cleveland played 3 "home games" in Milwaukee this year, does that count as a playoff birth for the city of Milwaukee? http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/laugh.gifhttp://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/laugh.gifhttp://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/laugh.gif

I will vehemently root against the Yankees and Cubs. Everyone else, I have no problem with. The Mets don't really bother me for some reason, I pulled for them over the Cardinals last year. The Red Sox would not be my first choice, but as long as we don't have to suffer through another Boston-New York series, I'd be OK with them too.

If I had to choose, though, I'd say Padres and Angels. West Side!!

I will root against the Cubs, but probably won't watch much baseball. After the Brewers get eliminated my focus goes entirely to football college and pro. Besides, I hate the way Fox covers postseason baseball. It's one facial closeup of the pitcher after another followed by somebody in the stands followed by the dougout. Ten minutes of that and I'm fast asleep.

I have a friend that gets annoyed by that too. I understand it's a bad attempt by Fox to try to add an extra layer of drama to the situatiion...but it's never really bothered me.

Who's everyone going for in the Rockies/Padres game tomorrow?

I'm pretty much indifferent, but I hope the Padres because, quite frankly I think if the Padres/Rockies winner were to face the Cubs, that the Padres have a better chance to beat the Cubs.

I'm rooting for the Rockies. I think they're fun to watch and I like a lot of the guys they have on the team. That, and I think the Rockies have as good a chance as anyone to beat the Cubs

Well things changed a bit so now I want the Indians or Yankees in the AL and the Phillies or Rockies in the NL with the Cubs being #3 if the Rockies don't make it.

any word on time and channel for the playoff game with SD-COL tomorrow? or did I miss it somewhere?

I'm rooting for the Phillies and Indians. It is a doubt of mine that they both actually reach the World Series.

I'm also rooting for whoever plays the Cubs.

I'm pretty sure it's a given that the Cubs are playing the D'Backs. With that being the case, I really hope the D'Backs are sure to get Bartman some tickets down the left field line considering he lives in Arizona right now. That would make me laugh.

Me too. I used to work for the KC Royals. Until Friday, I was pulling for the Padres (because of Buddy Black - a former Royals pitcher from the glory days). Now I'll take the Colorado Rockies (because of Clint Hurdle - another former Royal).

Also, whoever ends up matched with the Cubs in the first round gets my support.

And may the Bartman with with you.

HAHAHA!!!! Great minds think alike!!!! http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/roll.gif Look at the timing on those posts.

Let's take up a collection to fly him to Denver just in case.

I really hope the Pads get in, just since I wouldn't want what essentially amounts to a feel-good, aesthetically satisfying finish for us to be what keeps another team out of the postseason (I know, I know, they lost those games...but still). That said, I'd be really happy for the Rockies to make it, too.

My personal team to root (aside from the obvious "Whoever's playin' the Cubs") on is the Yanks. Fell in love with 'em in the dynasty years, which were built largely by developing their own talent. The love has lasted, and whoever wants to go, "Oh, come one man!" on that, feel free! http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gif

The Padres ruined our season. We dented their season. Seems about fair to me!

The matchup that brings the lowest ratings.

I don't understand what you are trying to say. Do you mean that because you don't like any of the teams, you hope no one does well. Because that isn't good for the sport. Or do you mean you want the underdog to win?
