I have a feeling that we lose the first 2 and win the finale. Hudson and Flaherty are tough, but Wacha kind of stinks. Even if we see good Freddy I think we lose a low scoring game.

I'm going to tonight's game and it will be my first game of the season. It also be the first time me seeing Freddy pitch in person. Let's hope we get the Great Freddy tonight.

Assuming Jeffress will be activated by game time and Petricka sent down.

No move announced yet. Wouldn't surprise me if they waited till tomorrow to see if anyone else in the pen bites the bullet and has to cover multiple innings tonight. Anderson, Barnes and Petricka are all possibilities.

Don’t think they’ll pitch chase or Barnes, cause of the innings they pitched yesterday. And really hoping yesterday was last time we EVER see Petricka pitch for the crew.

No Braun again. I know he needs his rest but not usually two days games in a row unless there is a minor issue.

Well, he's sporting a .222 OBP and -0.4 WAR on the season as well so that will also give you some time on the bench if there are other options.

Is Petricka a surprise? The guy never should have seen an inning on this team, but as soon as he was picked up, we knew he'd be doing so...

Braun sitting possibly just to get more lefties in the lineup. I dont know if he would have played had he been hitting better though, so it probably played into it some.

So I guess it's bad Peralta again.

This pitching staff is going to set all kinds of homerun records this year.

Yes, a pitching coach matters.

Lepay " He just continues to love hitting in this ballpark "

No Matt.....he just loves hitting off of Brewer pitching

What's the difference?

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Same **** as Woodruff in LA... ball way outside or right down the middle. Outside = no swing. right down the middle = HR/hit...

for Floods sake...

I had hopes after the first out, but if he's gonna have a "blow up" first inning, 2 solo shots aren't the worst way to do it. Still only a 12 pitch inning.

A pitching coach can coach all he wants. If the pitcher doesn't execute the coach doesn't matter. I'm pretty sure Hook is recommending 90MPH meatballs to Goldschmidt and DeJong.

Looks like bad Peralta showed up tonight. You can tell what kind of night it's going to be by his first inning. There's no gray area with this guy. Either he's Cy Young or he's Jeff Suppan.
