What a trash strike call on Tyrone.

Ump has checked out strike two to Robertson was same out of zone. Seen Boxberger and Yardley both with outside strikes called in their favor. Hurry up he need his sleep.

+22 run differential. 53 runs allowed, tied with the Giants for fewest* in the majors. Mets have allowed only 40 but have only played 12 games, they're allowing more runs per game however. Brewers/Giants 3.12, Mets 3.33 per game.

Also 10th in MLB in runs scored with 75, not too shabby for a "bad" offense.

Dunno... he gave up four hits this time around, I think he's slipping.

I know, right. The number of hits he’s given up has doubled in each of his last two starts. Not a good trend.

This series may be a good example of “It’s not who you play, it’s when you play them”.

The Brewers lead with their two aces and miss both Darvish and Snell.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Corbin Burnes starts have become appointment viewing. The guy's stuff is so filthy. I love Woodruff's bulldog mentality out there, but Burnes is probably the more talented pitcher. When was the last time the Brewers have had two horses like this at the top of the rotation?

Soon, people will start calling for one of them to be traded.

Got to stock the farm.

We are not used to having nice pitchers at the top.

Brewers fans don't know how to act when we do.

LOL ... this take is 100% spot on, Hopper.

Actually there was a pretty big rumor/discussion in the offseason about Burnes being traded to the White Sox. Never went anywhere of course. As you might remember he was the guy the Orioles really wanted for Manny Machado in '18.

There are very few names in MLB that I would straight up trade Burnes for 1 to 1 for right now. Acuna comes to mind. Not many others.

Absolutely. Burnes, DeGrom and Tyler Glasnow are on my TV every time they start. Just incredibly nasty.
