It appears the Brewers will face two lefty starters today in Patrick Corbin and Jon Lester, but the order has yet to be determined for the Nationals.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

So in a 7 inning 1st game of a doubleheader, would CC be more likely to leave Peralta in for 5 + innings or less likely? Asking for a friend that has Peralta in fantasy. That friend is me.

My expectation is that if Freddy is on today, he pitches at least 6 and depending on the score he uses Hader in the first game and then the second game Counsell has Boxberger and Williams to cover the 6th and 7th assuming Anderson gets you 5.

I could be wrong.. but I think we sweep here today. Shortening the game favors the team with the better bullpen and the Brewers have that.

I think 7 inning games favor the team with the better starter, and can be easier for a team with a weak bullpen to navigate.

The big question as always is whether the Brewers can score some runs. Even against pitchers that the league has knocked around there’s no guarantee.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

My guess would be basically the same.

Any word if this is starting on time? Radar looks like it might be better to postpone an hour or two.

An old argument around here...but score one for the contact play with 1 out...even with the infield in.

Yelich illustrating how the contact play is supposed to be executed. Get a good lead and a good jump and you can score on a ball hit right to an infielder. A complete contrast to what Hiura did when he failed to score the tying run in Wednesday’s game on a ball that should have been much easier to score on.

Totally agree. Hiura was terrible on that one.

Ok, hiura can go back down and we can trade for cron.

I totally forgot this was only 7 innings. Flipped it on after the Bucks W.
