Peralta has been incredible. He is becoming must watch TV and I was no fan of him and his 100 pitch 4 inning efforts but the man is on fire

Has there been an official announcement who will be starting the games over the weekend?

I don’t know if it’s an “official announcement”, but Woodruff and Burnes are listed as probables to follow Peralta tonight. They would be the logical choices because both would be starting with 5 days rest. With another off day on Monday there’s no reason to slide a sixth starter in there this weekend.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I wish Adames would just always hit 2nd.

Could use a few more of those Vogelbombs. Very nice.

No doubt. Works the count, if he could poke a few more over the fence they’d have a player

That 1-1 pitch to Yelich wasn't really that close to being a strike. Is there one MLB umpire that can call a competent zone?

It's Joe West. If he can get 50% of the calls right at this point, call it a win and move on.

Has he gotten one wrong yet today?

I'd say 3 to 4 minimum so far through 2.

To answer my question, yes.

I wish I had confidence in JBJ at this AB. I choose to have hope.

RBI fielders choice is about the best outcome I could have hoped for.

No DP or K. At least we got a run.

Why is Freddy bunting in that situation? Just let him swing away and try to put one in play and score another one. Don't agree with that one at all.

Odds of double play are too high in that situation.
