I wonder if they wait it out much longer with Garcia or just put him on the IL.

If there's one thing that I dislike about Brewers' roster management, it's that they're oddly willing to let a guy basically sit out for half a IL stay and play short-handed in that timeframe, then sometimes the guy agitates the injury and goes on the IL anyway.

It’ll be interesting if he plays in game #2 of the doubleheader. It makes some sense to keep the lineup you were going with yesterday and then use your other guys in game #2.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Rock is back and now BA is gone again? Quite the announcer carrousel this year.

Far be it for me to question CC. OK, I wasn't going to stop there. But how much longer does Yelich continue batting 2nd, slowing down/killing rallies as he guesses wrong on strike 3, or he passively rolls one into the shift?

Are beat reporters even asking about Yelich anymore?

"So if this fruit's a Brewer's fan, his ass gotta be from Wisconsin...(or Chicago)."

They need to get him going and giving him more at bats seems to be their strategy. I'm okay with this, despite his struggles.

BA does National games on the weekend so you won’t see him much on Saturdays or Sundays.

Rock,is 63 now and has had some recent health issues…….I think he is just scaling back his schedule to include some time off during the season now.

They've been trying to get him going for a year and a half. At some point you have to do what's best for the team.

Kind of odd post since he’s actually showed some signs of life lately. He’s scored 2 runs each of last two games, is 3 for his last 10, still getting on base, and hit a baseball at 107 mph right before you posted.

They seem to be winning a few games, despite his struggles.

Not getting over confident, but leading early in these 7-inning games feels like a big advantage. Seems so strange that there are already just 5 innings of baseball left.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Pirates broadcast put up a graphic that Anderson has the best ERA in all of baseball since July 1st.

Burns, Houser, and Lauer were also top 6, all four guys under 2.00 ERA since July 1st.
