They said 454 for the estimated distance. Looked way short of that at the game

Yesterday was the first time I finally let my Yelich frustration out on the board, and now I wish I would’ve waited one more day. :)
Not just “at Night” anymore.

This is why, once Hader is warmed up, and you have an off day in two days, I bring him in and get the game over with. Now he comes in with the equivalent of a 2 run lead.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Yea off day coming Monday, he's warmed up and hasn't pitched in a few days. Might as well just let him roll right away. If he'd been used a lot lately, sure sit him down. That said, it's not like doing it this was was egregious or anything, could go either way.

Just want you want when you enter the ninth with a 5 run lead. Josh Bell as the tying run.

Sanchez has been good enough that should be in blue, but with the 3 batter rule there might actually be situations where fewer runs might be better.

No, bringing in your closer instead of fooling around would be better. Hader does give up runs some times.

I blame Sanchez for all this. Thanks for not being able to be trusted to protect a 5 run lead. Now Hader gets hot twice and had a long extended outing instead of saving his arm in late August.

Good win. Good comeback, and glad to see Yelich (possibly, maybe) breaking out of his season+ long hibernation. That being said, Hader threw 25 completely unnecessary pitches and will almost certainly be unavailable tomorrow because of it. Stupid.

That was honestly kind of a gross game that was saved by 2 amazing moments. Alls well that ends well, I suppose, and in the end it's a much welcomed W.
