How bad did the injury look? Major concern?

 

Looks like he tweaked his back on a swing. He finished the AB, but was taken out after a called strike three.

 

He looked like he was in some mild discomfort on the bench then went into the lockeroom.

This should clinch Avi being below 550 plate appearances.

Except he only needs like 10 more plate appearances.

 

He has 479 going into today. He’d need a lot more than 10 to get to 550

I believe it’s 550 this year OR 1100 total for 2020 and 2021, with 2020 being prorated over a full season.

Just looking at the Brewers stats on B-ref, we are likely only going to have one (maybe two) guys reach the minimum threshold for "qualifiers" for rate stats for the league leaderboards for the season. That's crazy.

By my count he needs 10 more. It was 23 more as of Friday morning, and he had 10 plate appearances over the weekend against Cleveland, plus 3 tonight.

Tyler O’Neill puts stl up 4-3 with a two-run homer. Exhibit A why I can’t handle the thought of playing Cards in playoffs. Scars are deep for me.

We won’t have to play them unless they somehow beat the Dodgers and the Giants…..‘ I’ll gladly take my chances with them.if that happens.
