2021-09-17: Cubs (Davies) at Brewers (Houser) [Brewers win, 8-5 -- 4-run 8th inning propels Crew to victory]

[Zad Fnark]

Davies... 2nd time through

[markedman5]

Tough way to end it …….

[BruisedCrew]

Now a base running mistake kills the inning.

Cut the lead to one. Now hit the reset button and start playing like a winning team.

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Back in the game with that inning. But still having the hardest hit balls turning into outs tonight.

[BruisedCrew]

And just like that the Cubs take the momentum back.

[markedman5]

Houser had some bad luck but hasn’t been sharp either.

[BruisedCrew]

That’s enough for Houser. The defense hasn’t helped him but there’s no helping walks and gopher balls.

[BruisedCrew]

Reds beat the Dodgers 3-1.

Cards lead 4-0.

[Patrick425]

I really hope hope Houser was not whining about getting taken out there. He had some bad luck, but he was also not effective.

[dlk9s]

Hey, if you're going to have a team slump, might as well be when you are umpteen million games ahead in the division halfway through September.

[ThisIsMyCrew]

Yelich on base 2/3 times tonight. Will take that!

[Eye Black]

Brewers have had some pitches to hit this inning.

[BruisedCrew]

Not exactly getting maximum advantage out of the scoring chances the last two innings.

[brewerfan82]

I'll take the one run game with 4 innings to go after the way this game started.

[yourout]

On Base Jace has been anything but....lately.

[wibadgers23]

On Base Jace has been anything but....lately.

He looked completely lost in that AB. Wow.

[BruisedCrew]

Was looking for something from the top of the order that inning and got 3 feeble ABs.

Running out of innings to turn this around.

[adambr2]

Some really impressive defense on display tonight.

[BruisedCrew]

More mistakes.

[yourout]

Going to go out on a limb and predict Urias does NOT win a Gold Glove this year.

[willie key]

Some really impressive defense on display tonight.

It’s getting annoying

[Nola Beery]

More slop

[adambr2]

Quit your barking Bote. It was a fantastic pitch.

[Bulldogboy]

Ashby has second best stuff on this team after Burnes. It is incredible.

[Nola Beery]

More slop
