How many ways are there to say, "we need guys who can hit"? I'm afraid we're about to see how far you CAN'T go in a long season when you rely on decent starters, a mediocre bullpen (even counting Hader), and a weak batting lineup.  It just gets old.

Please let me be wrong this half-inning.

Can we start playing the Pirates and Reds again.

The Pirates and Reds and others are thinking, "Can we play the Brewers soon again?"

“You're never as good as everyone tells you when you win, and you're never as bad as they say when you lose.” Somewhere in between. This isn’t a World Series caliber roster at the moment. If that is indeed the goal, much work is still to be done.

Great!  Another solo shot.  How did he do when there were runner on?

As well as everyone else in this lineup.

BA is talking about weathering the next road trip and then the schedule gets better.

I don’t think a 7 game homestand against the Cardinals and Blue Jays looks better.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Not one bit. Clueless. Almost like he hasn’t been calling games all year…

So... because Renfroe failed to hit a HR with runners on base I shouldn't be happy the HR he did hit?

Can we go back to playing our April/May schedule so we can start actually winning games again?

I'm not so sure we would be able to beat Cincy and Pittsburgh right now.

Just when you thought Kelley might not get roughed up for once reality sets in.

There's a reason he's 30, with his fourth organization and has barely pitched in the majors. Yuck
