I’m not sure what you are asking

Nothing I wrote was referring to previous Brewers teams - only my disappointment with this year’s team

You specifically said " miss the post season for a record 5th CONSECUTIVE year ". I'm not trying to argue with you.

Assuming that I did the Baseball Reference summing correctly for August, when the post trade deadline slide started, the team has a 6-10 record with the following stats:

BA - .206

OBP - .295

SLG - .377

Runs/Game average - 3.8

Even worse, the pitching has given up 4.2 runs/game in that same period, though only 3.8 earned runs/game. Four of the losses were by 1-run. So both the bats and gloves have been letting the team down.

Three of the wins have been in extra innings, meaning runs scored with the aid of a free runner on second.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Hiura seems to have been hitting that low strike lately, moreso than high strikes of course.

And I don’t see them pulling Stroman to bring in a lefty if Hiura pinch hits, similar to what the Dodgers recently did, given Stroman’s low pitch count. One could justify having him hit for Urias here, but of course we’ll just do nothing.

Well, Urias battled at least to get Stroman up to 84 pitches.

Now the Cubs have to decide whether to leave Stroman in against two lefties (Narvaez, Yelich) next inning, or bring in a lefty. Of course, a lefty would probably have to face Caratini and Brosseau.

Ah - thanks - here is what I meant … this would be the fifth consecutive year to make the playoffs & we were favorites to win the division

I’m trying to communicate how disappointing it is to not make the playoffs this year

Today is typical 2022 Brewers baseball - one hit & one run through 7 innings … losing to a terrible team

Its just so hard to watch this team  , incredibly horrible line-up. What stinks is that we've seen this lineup last year and  the team really didn't do anything to chance it.

Once again, I see no rational reason for letting Suter face this 4th batter (Contreras), unless CC just wants to get back to the hotel quicker.

Taken literally and out of context it could have sounded like it would be disappointing to miss the playoffs for 5 years in a row,

Thank you - I just attempted to address that - my bad … I didn’t communicate well

If Hiura can't crack this lineup just let the guy go to a team that will use him. I'm sure we can get another middle reliever which we never seem to have enough of in return for our best hitter.

Counsell is just trying to get the season over with so he can retire as he clearly has lost his fire.

Funny how the ump wants to get home early too. Calling the high strike for Suter, low and wide strike to Yelich here.

Ah, thx. Have good day( except for the Brewers losing )

Again, we seem to hit the ball "hard".  Too bad we can't control WHERE we hit it.

Location is better than velocity any day.  We score with homers, but not so much with "bat control" [TM].  And yes, I know hitting a baseball is really hard.
