This is where it would be nice if the ace pitcher could have gotten through at least 7 innings so the Brewers wouldn’t have to go deep into the bullpen that was hyperextended yesterday just to stay in this game.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I like BAs voice too but he really is saying so many dumb things lately and that always has infuriated me going back to the Mike Hegan days for me. Like we were on the cusp of the tarp coming out in yesterday's game. No, no you were not.

Ahh.  OK.  I seldom hear him do the Brewers since I only pay the $3/mo for MLB-TV audio

Keston needs to play everyday the rest of the season. He has absolutely earned the opportunity.

Yes.  And if the position jams mean McCutchen, Yelich, or Wong have to sit to get Hiura into the lineup, so be it.

What are the odds that Caratini gets thrown out of the game in the next half inning?  You know there's going to be some conversation behind the plate.

Caratini has a .368 OPS over the last 14 days prior to today

He's a classic backup catcher that gets exposed when he plays too much.

No wonder baseball is so boring.  The strike zone is huge when you factor in that batters have to swing at anything within 6 inches of the actual strike zone because who knows what the umpire will call.

Agreed. Although I'd still TRY McCutchen in CF first.

So, being the best in baseball isn't good enough for you? Good luck never being pleased then....

Hardly the best in baseball. 11 th in ERA, 12th in quality starts, 12th in WHIP, 18th in FIP and 26th in xFIP and 14th in WAR. You are really an exaggerator.LOL. Your statements have been literally unbelievable.

Ahhhh yes, the umpire being clearly wrong and getting upset when he gets called on it by the player...and the player is the one that gets tossed. Just how it's supposed to work

I don't care who has to sit the guy is the best hitter on the team and needs to play.

I was talking about Burnes since 2020, dude. But you have a hard time with reading comprehension so I'll cut you some slack.

He's actually not really a classic backup because he's not a great defensive catcher. Usually for a backup you want a stud on defense and are willing to sacrifice offense. Caratini is a 2nd division starter or aaaa.

Then he fits right in on the Brewers.

Burnes is good.    The rest of the pitching staff is overrated this year.    Like really overrated

luckily they have the offense that everybody complains about to deflect that they always seem to give up some home run to some nobody to give up the lead every game

There seem to be a lot of things that you find hard to ignore if they don’t line up with your preferences.

When I referred to “one of the supposed aces” I was talking about Woodruff and today’s game and you jumped to the conclusion that I was including Burnes. That must be because I wasn’t excited about his inability to get through the sixth inning on Thursday after being presented with a rare 5-0 lead and forced the Brewers to use 4 relievers to close that game out.

And yet, I immediately asked you the clarifying question of "You don't think Burnes and Woodruff are aces?"...You didn't answer in the affirmative, so naturally I perceived this as including Burnes. Either way, the facts are that Burnes and Woodruff are top 10 pitchers in the league since 2020, with Burnes being #1 due to DeGrom having been injured.

Just because you are in a foul mode doesn’t mean you can be so very rude to others. Remember a couple of weeks ago when Brock slapped you down.

Why don’t you take a couple of weeks off if you can’t behave yourself and play well with others.
