Game Thread (9/17/2022): Yankees (Taillon) at Brewers (Woodruff) - 6:10 PM CDT

[RedStickBrew]

Hopefully Woody is good for at least 1 more inning. He’s looked great

[Brewcrew82]

Beautiful job from Woody. Let's bring Devin in again in the 8th for Judge, Stanton, and Torres.

[LouisEly]

Judge and Stanton are 1-6 with 4 K's against Woody.  I could see letting Woo get them a 4th time.

[CdrbrgMark]

Brewers could have used another run last inning, and still no HRs for Judge.

[Brewcrew82]

Interesting. Andujar is supposed to be a huge butcher in the field. That was a pretty good catch.

[The stache]

Let’s hope the bullpen doesn’t fail Woody again. He was the ace we needed tonight.

Taking the series from the Yankees would be a huge and unexpected boon to our post season hopes.

Robots....at a bad time.

Hell of an outing!

[Brewcrew82]

ACE

[yourout]

Do you roll them out there for the 9th?

Don't worry. He might reach 61 tomorrow against Alexander.

Really nice outing from Woody, been a fun game to watch!

No. Over 100 pitches. Still a three run game. Go to Devin and get the win.

[AKCheesehead]

Woodruff has had so many great/perfect pitches tonight when he needed them.  Absolute gem.

[igor67]

It still doesn't take much if Woodruff and Burnes get hot at the same time for the postseason.

Playing with house money tomorrow

[HarveysWBs]

What a win.  The big boys played like big boys tonight--Woody, Williams, Adames, and Yeli--and that's all it took.  Incredible.

[Brewcrew82]

Just put us back in the AL East....

[AKCheesehead]

That's the way a Brewers game is supposed to go! Love it!

[Nola Beery]

Wooooot! Great win and great pitching!

[treego14]

Wood is Ruff on everyone!

This is a ton of fun!

[edfunderburk]

Woody was an ace tonight

Hoping for healthy pitchers for the home stretch

Also want to see San Diego & Philly stumble so we can sneak into the playoffs
