How is this guy not a consensus top 100 prospect?

Because Top Prospects lists are often fraught with mistakes. They just are. He's a total stud.

The kids will struggle this year. It happens to all of them. But right now this is pretty great.

Why it'll be big when Urias, Taylor, etc. return...

Maybe they won’t.

Scoring 12 runs in the fifth inning the last two days is a good pace. Keep that up, it’ll be a good season.

It's way too early to be making changes to the lineup. Yelich also led the team in OBP last year and has a .400 OBP to start the season this year. Turang is a rookie who will inevitably experience his share of struggles.

Meanwhile...one has 3ks with a bb. The other is 2-2 Grand Slam and a bb.

5ks thus far for the team. Yelich has 3.

It’s always nice to see new players have some success right away, like Mitchell last year. Then when the inevitable rough spots come (like they did for Mitchell) they still have something positive to draw on.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Please tell me, what game # is this?

Anyone can spend $20 a month to watch. It is accessible and anyone on planet earth with internet connection can watch the Brewers. Brewers baseball has never been more accessible and if you wouldn't own cable if not for the Brewers/Bucks it has never been more affordable to watch.

Okay - good to know - that makes sense

Nice thing about Turang is that his slumps won't look as ugly as the typical Brewer because he still makes contact and gets on base...

Was going to say this. Mitchell had really good numbers last year, but how he was doing it did not feel sustainable. Obviously Turang can't sustain this level, but he has shown incredible plate discipline and bat to ball so far that Mitchell hasn't. Makes his hot start feel much more real.

Change this to anyone with a Wisconsin home zip code and you're right. I don't believe someone in California can watch Brewers baseball on the Bally's app.

Probably a good time to call it a day for Freddy at 85 pitches and a 10 run lead. Really good to see him throwing mid 90s in the 6th inning and zero 80 mph fastballs like late last season after the shoulder injury.
