I’d temper that enthusiasm a little. Not a whole lot of proven major league hitters there.

I rarely make a positive post

I’ll temper my enthusiasm next year during game threads

We'll see. How many times have we seen guys start out great and then drift away. But Sal does look like a guy who belongs. I'm hopeful, as always.

He easily has the best mechanics and approach that I have seen in a long time from the farm.

If the broadcast booth is the thing you need to give validity to something, you're in trouble.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Interesting move with Peguero here...Chafin and/or Uribe must have passed him up in the pecking order.

If so - we have a pretty awesome bullpen

2024 is going to be fun baseball to watch again!

Frelick, Yelich, Contreras, Turang + Mitchell, Black, Chourio - that will be enjoyable offense

I sure hope so.

The twisting yourself into a pretzel explanation of why Frelick needs to eased into the lineup is still wild to me. Dude is best young hitting prospect since Braun and he is watching Wiemer the other night.

2019 Keston Hiura. Thankfully, their ability to make contact is night and day.

He should never be sitting for anybody. Completely neutral splits in the minors so no reason for it whatsoever.

Braun or Molitor.  He is that exciting and as fundamentally sound as both of them were.  Sky is the limit.
