Just phenomenal work all around.  What an interview, and Art but Sports is always solid

Thanks for the turn on to Art but (Make it) Sports!  Crazy good and very clever..

Feels like just about about every time Taylor gets his footing and gets hot he comes up with some kind of injury. Too bad. Playing time is his if he can stay healthy

Hope Woody staying is a good sign.  Got to assume they would take no chances if there was any issue.

Counsell’s the most careful injury coach in the league, especially with his top guys. Just can’t imagine there is any situation he’d leave him out if something was wrong with Woody’s body.

Rockies had bases loaded and one out, but couldn't score. 4-3 Cubs. Bottom 8.

Be interesting to see who comes in to try to close. Cubs pen is a mess with injuries and struggling pitchers. Would love to clinch today!

BA, I think he's one of the announcers today, just said he's retired 7 in a row for the last 8 outs.  While technically correct, it's still hurting my brain.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

I'm not surprised we are down by 3 here.  There might be a subconscious let down after a crazy game yesterday.  I just hope nobody gets hurt.  This game really doesn't mean anything.

Woody’s velocity is noticeably down, but he’s still hittin 95….not sure what to make of that.

Yeah, he'll be at 91-92 then pop back up to 95. He seems a bit off. Maybe the whole team is a little bit after yesterday.

Woody not great today…….but really the issue is that Lazardo has been really good

Tough lefty who has bounced back after we battered him around in Milwaukee.

Woody has also been lights out since coming of the IL. Due for a rough start.

Yeah. I'd pull Woody after this inning pretty much no matter what. He'll be up near 90 pitches, and you can give you him a few on Thursday if you want to keep him sharp Oct 3 or 4.

I'd start Woody Game 1 over Burnes.
