Highest QBR rating in a single post-season game in NFL history. Are we paying attention yet? My goodness. Hard to fathom what LaFleur has done with this team within this season. Unreal growth across the board.

It's really hard for me to imagine anyone who TRULY saw this coming.

Even in the pre-season predictions, the most positive ones, whatever...did anyone think Love would be throwing the ball like THIS? That this offense would be capable of this?

It's amazing. They bucked the schedule-winning some of the tougher games, losing some of the easier games, Love started with 14/10 TDs/INTs and then just exploded while the skill players limped along until they finally started picking up speed and now they're all on a dead sprint heading into Santa Clara and facing probably the most talented team in the NFL next week in SF!

Probably the most fun I've had watching the Packers since 2010.

As good as they looked today, I'm not sure they can knock off SF, but...I know I won't be placing any bets against this group.

Youngest team to make the playoffs in 50----FIFTY YEARS!!!

Saturday 7:00 on Fox.

Sorry to derail the Packer thread with a personal problem, but I have to have "the talk" with my son this week. He's getting married on Saturday and I don't know how to tell him I won't be there.

I said last week the Bears game was the kind of game that makes you want to call in sick to work to listen to Chicago sports radio. I just might do that tomorrow for the national sports talk.

Stephen A. Smith is priceless this morning on First Take.  Hopefully you set the DVR.  See if you can find a replay.

Assuming times are somewhat normal, you can easily have the wedding itself, dinner and all the firsts before gametime. Then just saddle up at the bar for the rest of the evening.

That being said, your son should have seen this as a possibility and waited until the Saturday after the super bowl.

Going to be a quiet dance floor, no doubt!

If you raised him right he’ll understand.

I had my granddaughter’s birthday party at our house yesterday. Kept the TV on mute for the first half (present opening) but sound on for the 2nd half. Everyone seemed to understand Grandpa was distracted.

Watch it on mute. The music sucks.

Looking forward to watching Skip Bayless when I get home tonight, I watch all the Packer segments of these shows on youtube after big wins like this.

Not sure if it was mentioned here or not but I saw a joke that GB has more playoff wins at At&T/Cowboys Stadium than Dallas does.  I assume that is true and find it hilarious.  Stadium opened in 2009

That is no joke and 100% true.

I'm not going to pretend I saw that coming, but one of the frustrations with the last years of Rodgers were the open receivers that did not get the football (so it could be force-fed to the guys Aaron trusted).  Love is throwing to the open receivers, and the MLF offense is getting guys open...like we complain about when it happens to our defense.

I am so impressed with the way this offense is going right now.  So much so, that I find myself increasingly open-minded about Joe Barry.  If we cut the offense slack for young receivers not running their routes correctly...the coverage breakdowns have mostly disappeared over the last month (with the possible exception of the Baker Mayfield game), due largely to inexperienced DBs having gone through the crucible.  I'm not 100% there...and a bad showing against SF could close the book on Barry's tenure, but the defense showed out and complemented the offense in a playoff game.

Happy Victory Monday!

Thanks for the responses, I got a good laugh. Fortunately the wedding is in the Caribbean and everything will be over by the time the game starts, local time, so my initial post was fully tongue-in-cheek.

At my mom's funeral, a guy wore a Packer jacket and Packer Zubaz. The funeral was at 9 in the morning.

On a Wednesday.

In March.

The Dallas D is pretty pedestrian. GB should be able to move the ball. But yeah we will need to burn the clock and reduce the # of possessions.

Good prediction. However, I preferred the approach the Packers took.  Don't reduce the possessions, just score on 6 of the first 7.

Sucks for Kingsley because that probably costs him most all of the 2024 season, too.  He's a solid rotational OLB.

Yeah...might make the Preston Smith call easier. Also may make Edge a bit of a need this draft(not high, but middle rds).

Really a good 4th Edge Rusher. I did like Brenton Cox Jr though.

If they do that again this weekend i like their chances. 😁

Lost on the offensive explosion in Dallas Sunday was how well the D line and Quay Walker played defensively before the game was 48-16 in the 4th quarter.  The D line did a really good job stalemating what is still a solid Cowboy offensive line at the point of attack.  Also there's game tape floating around on the interwebs showing how dynamic Walker can be when he diagnoses the play and uses his athleticism to beat lineman to the point of attack on running plays, and if he knows what route concepts are coming into his zone on pass plays he can cover a TON of area for a MLB.  That 3rd and medium play on the Cowboys' 1st drive that resulted in an incomplete pass off Lamb's fingertips was entirely because Walker jumped that slant route and forced Dak to lead Lamb too much - had he thrown to Lamb on that play Walker probably picks it off or at minimum knocks the ball down.  Getting Dallas off the field there without scoring was huge in preventing the game from turning into a potential track meet and really put the Cowboys in panic mode after the Packers scored another TD to go up 14-bagel.
