I wonder with the minors off day on Monday if they are able to hold-off effectively until Tuesday on Mitchell?

If Ortiz cannot play the field or hit over the next what, 1 or 2 days, he has to be put down, right? Right now, do we have a back up infielder?

For the life of me, I could not remember why Ross was even on the IL. I assumed his elbow or shoulder. Lower back strain? It just seems like hardly anybody comes back quickly from injuries. DL Hall and his knee, Mitchell and his finger. Bukauskas had a setback. Uribe had knee surgery. So discouraging.

Hoskins came back quickly, and maybe that's why you don't rush guys back. Slugging .313 with an OPS around .594 in over a month. What a disappointment he has been. If third base is the Hot Corner, 1B for the Brewers should be called the Black Hole. And I'm not even talking about Tyler and his .610 OPS.

Looking at you next, Joey Ortiz. I assume that he will be given through the All-Star Break to get back.

Today is day 10 for Sanchez and his calf strain. Will he be back soon?

You have got to be kidding me.

That fight may have cost Uribe a lot of service time and money. If he gets hurt in the majors he get gets both the money and service time. Will still be well below a year after this season and has to serve a suspension.
